It’s baaaaaaaack…

For more than 15 years, It’s My Park Day (IMPD) has provided thousands of volunteers the chance to give back to their parks while connecting with their neighbors and fellow park lovers!

It’s My Park Day Spring will be a hybrid event including both virtual and in-person volunteer opportunities. The event runs from June 5th to 13th with limited in-person opportunities on APF’s 29th Birthday – Saturday, June 12th. Register via GivePulse today -> austinparks.org/IMPD for the virtual events. To join our team in person at Beverly S. Sheffield Northwest District Park on June 12th sign up at this link https://givepul.se/uekiwf  We will be painting the retaining wall behind the tennis courts and cleaning up the creek!

Due to the City of Austin’s COVID-19 safety protocols capacity for in-person opportunities is limited so sign up now. Virtual volunteer activities will be posted on the APF website and GivePulse on Saturday, June 5th.

We’re dreaming of the day we can return to a huge It’s My Park Day. In the meantime, we’re excited to have generous volunteers like you helping our city’s outdoor spaces in person and virtually.

It’s My Park Day is Austin Parks Foundation’s largest city-wide volunteer event, normally held the first Saturdays of March and November, inviting thousands of volunteers to work on hundreds of improvement projects in parks and greenbelts throughout the city. The volunteer labor on these days represents an investment of over a quarter of a million dollars for Austin’s parks.
