Start a family tradition by joining the fun at It’s My Park Day November 3, 2018, between 9am and 12pm. This is a great opportunity to help keep our parks looking their best and we appreciate all you do to help.

Allandale has two It’s My Park Day events scheduled: Ligustrum removal at the Shoal Creek Greenbelt and revitalizing pond edge plantings at Beverly S. Sheffield Northwest District Park where you can roll up those sleeves and help out your parks. Pitch in on invasive plant removal, refreshing native plants, and trail building. John Clement with Austin Watershed Protection with provide on-site expertise during our events. We really appreciate all John does for our group!

On-line registration is required. no prior skill sets needed, training provided at the events. Our partner Austin Parks Foundation provides tools, plant materials, snacks, and t-shirts to proudly wear indicating your support of our parks. Plus there are great give backs available with your t-shirt. See the attached flyer for details.
