On March 9, the City will host the first public meeting of the Lower Shoal Creek Flood Mitigation Study (http://www.austintexas.gov/
shoalcreekfloods). This study will evaluate possible solutions to flooding along the creek in the downtown area. Early public input and participation will inform the solutions to be studied by the City, so I hope that you are able to attend and can help encourage others to attend as well. I’ve attached the City’s soon-to-be-mailed postcard announcing the meeting to this email as well as included the details below my signature.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and thanks in advance for helping spread the word.
