In learning a lot about HHW (household hazardous waste), EPA regulations, state laws, we have had to adjust our first ANA Recycling Fair. Please watch here for updates, as we will continue to add to the list of what we CAN accept as we get additional support!
ANA is hosting a Recycling Fair Sat Oct from 9 to 11 am (NOTE new time, ending 1 hour earlier to be able to transport collections to South Austin) in the back parking lot of Gullett Elementary, by the Little League fields, at 6310 Treadwell Blvd.
Austin, Texas 78757, essentially off Shoalcreek b/t Anderson and 2222.
This is a FREE service for all ANA members in good standing (paid dues). You can pay your dues on site Oct 8. Anyone else is welcome as well, for a $10 donation.
We WILL ACCEPT:
Batteries – of all kinds, residential and car
Oil (motor, cooking)
Paint (cans only, no spray cans, spray paint)
Large form styrofoam
***NEW to accept Styrofoam peanuts, packing peanuts of all kinds. Thank you Break It Down who will take these for us.****
Any computer electronics, old cell phones, devices, cords.
Electronics are anything with a cord, a battery, or a computer chip.
The city will take and will strip of all confidential information.
Any and all old clothes, bed sheets, towels, and blankets. Josco products, which recycles these materials, will be on hand live to collect. Thank you Josco!

Any medications, prescription or OTC
This event is for households, individual homes, families, residential, only. NOT for businesses or commercial collection.
