Consulting Arborist Don Gardner will discuss pruning principles, tools, and techniques to give young trees a strong structure, and will demonstrate pruning basics. Don is one of only five Registered Consulting Arborists in the state. He was the official arborist of the Texas Governor’s mansion for 27 years, and hosts Gardening Naturally’s “Tree Talk” segment on KLBJ-AM. Learning proper tree care will ensure a long life for your trees—a must for the do-it-yourselfer.
