The front-page of today's Austin American-Statesman has a story about the City Council's proposed regulation for short-term rentals and includes a mention of two Allandale residents, one who is opposed to commercial short-term rentals in neighborhoods and one who owns a short-term rental in Allandale. According to the article, the City Council is scheduled "to give final approval to a policy that allows commercial short-term rentals in neighborhoods" next week at its August 2nd meeting.
