8:30 a.m. – Parade assembles at White Rock and Bullard. Route of the parade is up Bullard Dr. to Gullett Elementary.
9:00 a.m. – Parade begins
to follow – Program at Gullett School
We have an addition to our parade this year:
The Capitol City Highlanders Pipe Band will lead off. Then the Allandale Banner carried by the Girl Scouts; the Boy Scouts carrying the flags; our great Colonial Drummers who will also have a special performance at the ceremony; elected officials and kids, bikes, floats, cars, etc.
Keita Bryce, daughter of Jim Bryce is a member of the Pipe Band and is a piper.. They have a performance in Round Rock so they will be leading us off, then off to their next performance at 10 am.
Two special things at the parade this year: bring toys for Blue Santa. There will be a float to collect them. And bring your old or worn American flags to Cub Scout Pack 55. They are collecting them for a flag retirement ceremony with a veterans group at a later date.
Allandale parade is always the best! It is a real neighborhood parade – just show up and join in!

What is the parade route? Does it head north or south? Where does it end? We’re new to the neighborhood.
Thanks!
@SG: From the 1st paragraph of the article – 8:30 a.m. – Parade assembles at White Rock and Bullard. Route of the parade is up Bullard Dr. to Gullett Elementary.
Welcome to the neighborhood,
The parade lines up at White Rock and Bullard, then moves N/NW up Bullard to Gullett Elementary where it ends and the July 4th activities take place.
