On Tuesday, May 22, the Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing, discuss and take action on a proposal to regulate the short term rental of residential property in Austin.

A draft ordinance(Click here) – NOTE: this draft has not been reviewed or approved by the full Planning Commission.  This ordinance may change prior to its presentation to City Council.

4.      The proposal drafted by the Codes and Ordinances Committee of the Planning Commission (Click here) – This is the proposal on which the draft ordinance is based.

City Council is scheduled for public hearing, discussion and action on this item on Thursday May 24, 2012.
