LET THE RACES BEGIN!
Come to the Violet Crown Spring Festival at Brentwood Park and participate in the Bike Slow Race on the tennis court where the winner is the one who crosses the finish line last.

Nelo's Cycles will be on hand providing light bike maintenance on children's bikes at no cost. The Lamar Safe Routes to School and Northwest Recreation Center will be their coordinating the races.

Races will be going throughout the day with a new round of races starting on the hour: 11 AM, 12 NOON, 1 PM & 2 PM

RULES FOR THE RACE ARE SIMPLE

  • keep moving forward slow as you can ride
  • feet on pedals (no feet on the ground)
  • slowest timed bike ride to cross the finish line wins
