Storm Drainage Project Update – 05.30.12

Good afternoon!  Please find below the status of work for the Allandale Storm Drain Improvements

Completions Prior Week:

  • The first 1.5” of pavement on White Horse was completed and White Horse is now open for full use
  • Completion of the forming and pouring of curb and gutter on White Horse 
  • White Horse driveways poured and formed
  • Curbs on White Horse backfilled with top soil 

**The schedule below is projected as accurately as possible, however, all dates are subject to change due to the nature of construction and weather**

Storm Drainage Project Update – 05.25.12

Good afternoon!  Please find below the status of work for the Allandale Storm Drain Improvements

Completions Prior Week:

  • Primed second Phase of White Horse
  • Traffic switch on White Horse
  • Removed curb and gutter and driveways on White Horse, street excavated to subgrade
  • Grade was cut for curb and gutter and curb and gutters were formed and poured on White Horse
  • Cement slurry mixed for White Horse
  • Concrete crew continued grouting the storm drain lines at the inlets and connections to the box culvert on White Horse
  • Pre-excavations on Cavileer and Twin Oaks and on Nasco at White Horse were performed in order for water line tie-in’s
  • Bacterial tests on water lines were conducted; bacterial tests have been passed

Members of ANA’s EC to gather at city hall on May 24

The Allandale Neighborhood Association's Executive Committee (EC) will NOT be holding its monthly meeting scheduled for Thursday, May 24 at the Northwest Recreation Center. Instead the EC will be joining members of the Austin Neighboorhood Council at City Hall where there will be a public hearing on the city's Imagine Austin comprehensive plan and on regulation of commercial short-term rentals, two items of particular interest to the EC. Please put this on your calendars. The Short Term Rentals public hearing is on the agenda at 4 PM.
