The City of Austin Transportation Department is sponsoring two public meetings in an interactive mini-design workshop format. The purpose of the meetings is to get input from you about improvements you wish to see along the North Lamar Blvd. and Burnet Rd. corridors. The study of these corridors was approved by voters in the 2010 Mobility Bond Referendum.
The meetings are as follows:
Lamar Blvd. Corridor (US Hwy 183 to N. IH-35)
Tuesday, September 20, 2011
St, Mark’s United Methodist Church
601 W. Braker Lane
Burnet Rd. Corridor (W. Koenig Ln./Allandale Rd. to Mopac)
Thursday, September 22, 2011
St. John’s United Methodist Church
2140 Allandale Rd.
We are requesting your assistance in sharing the attachments with your associations/organizations. Since this is an interactive mini-design workshop, we are asking attendees to RSVP, so we will have adequate resources and materials.
The team will gather input from the September meetings, and will return to you in January with potential concepts for consideration. Meeting dates and locations will be announced shortly after the beginning of the new year.
Please feel free to contact me at any of the mediums below should you wish additional information.
Thank you for your assistance in sharing the word about these meetings. We look forward to seeing you on September 20 and/or September 22.
