Allandale Storm Drain Improvements Project Update – 6/28/11

Work on bull creek 06.29 There have not been any significant changes since the update last week. 

Informal Meeting
The project manager, Tony Krauss, will continue to be on site at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays at the north end of the excavation on Bull Creek Road to meet with residents of the neighborhood.

Box Culvert Installation
On the box culvert installation on Bull Creek Road, we have not gotten past the rock yet. This means that the progress is extremely slow. We are moving northward roughly 15 to 30 feet a day.

Greenbelt near Shoal Creek Blvd. and Bull Creek Road
The work in the greenbelt is almost complete. A hand-rail will be installed at a later date.

Bullard Dr.
Bullard Dr. will continue to be completely closed at Carleen Dr. for up to four more weeks. The storm drain line between the houses has been installed, but there is still work remaining in the street and in the creek. A temporary coffer dam has been installed in the creek to divert water around the construction site. This will allow the contractor to finish the work by the outfall and restore the streambank around the outfall.

Allandale Storm Drain Improvements Project Update – 6/22/11

There have not been any significant changes since the update last week. The project manager, Tony Krauss, will continue to be on site at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays at the north end of the excavation on Bull Creek Road to meet with residents of the neighborhood.

On the box culvert installation on Bull Creek Road, we have not gotten past the rock yet. This means that the progress is extremely slow. We are moving northward roughly 15 to 30 feet a day.

The contractor has finished installing the wastewater services on Bull Creek Road in the block between Northland and RM 2222.
