US Census Bureau May Visit Your Neighborhood

This is notification that the Census Bureau is doing work in your community, pursuant to Federal Law, Title 13, U.S. Code Section 182.

The Census Bureau uses a workforce of trained federal employees to conduct a variety of household surveys by telephone and in-person interviews, as well as the mail. All of their representatives carry with them an official identification card. All persons representing the Census Bureau, must show to respondents an official credential of the United States of America, Department of Commerce, U.S Census Bureau, similar to the one enclosed.

Surveys are conducted throughout the month, every month, not just every ten years.

You can call the Census Bureau office anytime during businsess hours, 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, if verification of representatives in the field is needed. The telephone number is 1-800-835-9752.
