Are you tired of seeing that TLA (three-letter acronym) VMU showing up on the web site and in the newsletter? Well it’s almost over. I won’t spoil it for you but ANA has a crack team on the project and the neighborhood’s interests are being looked after. Progress on the project is this issue’s lead article which you can read about here.
You should have received your newsletter by now but if you have not, please email me [Email address: tlinehan #AT# austin.rr.com - replace #AT# with @ ]. Other hightlights include an article about the scaling back of the Wal-Mart at Northcross, a profile of one Allandale’s up an coming athletes, an article from Nathan Dooley about composting, and photos from the Hangtown Grill opening and the Allandale Fourth of July Parade.
A couple of pieces that we didn’t have room for in the newsletter, you can find here on the web site. They include the “Gullett Good News Column,” by Stephanie Schultz and Bruce Elphant’s “Constables Notbook.” As always, this newsletter is home grown – written and produced by your neighbors in Allandale. Thanks to everyone who contributed. If you want to contribute to the next edition or have an article idea, send and email to allandalereporter [Email address: allandalereporter #AT# yahoo.com - replace #AT# with @ ].
