Construction is scheduled to start the second half of July and
should take 6-7 months. Work will begin at two locations on the west side of the
boulevard, near Northwest Park and near W. 38th Street. Multiple crews will work
the project. The work will require temporary closures of bike lanes in short
“runs” as it moves north and south along the street. To minimize disruption to
those living along the boulevard, we will complete construction on both sides of
the street by segment – working first one side, then the other – before moving
to the next segment. Two travel lanes will remain open throughout construction.

What you will see next on the street:

Beginning this week, you
will see surveyors working in the right of way.
